I have more than 40 years of experience in litigation support and public accounting, including two decades with Big Four firms and more than 20 years running my own successful CPA firm. I consult with leaders of Fortune 500 companies, owners of closely held companies, and high-wealth individuals about income and estate tax matters as well as the financial aspects of litigation matters, resolutions to accounting issues, tax issues and business valuation services. I also consult with both plaintiffs and defendants on litigation strategies and have substantial experience testifying as an expert witness.
As a Litigation Advisory Director at Hancock Advisors and a Tax Partner at Hancock Askew & Co., I take a pragmatic approach when working with clients to provide technical tax and accounting expertise. I assist companies with merger and acquisitions, business valuations, and estate planning. I am honored to be recognized as an expert in accounting and business valuation by the judicial system. I provide litigation support services and serve as an expert witness in family law and commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Hancock Advisors, I was a partner at the international accounting firm, KPMG, and the owner of S. Mark Hand & Associates.
Today, I live in Jacksonville, Florida, with my wife Ashley, a leading family law attorney. I enjoy being outdoors: boating, hiking and fishing.
